New Release Alert - The Vampire 1

Stories about vampires have always been a favorite genre in fiction, but probably never as much as in the last several years. Movies and television series about vampires abound, and there are even more works available in print. many of the story lines revolve around a sexy male character, forever young and eternally misunderstood. Research shows that women favor these types of fictitious works 3 to 1 over all other genres. For these reasons, I decided that it might be about time to create a SexSkit along that line.

There are many reasons that vampires are so popular. The vampire has the appeal of immortality, which has been a goal of man for ages. Men built the pyramids in an attempt to gain immortality, yet it comes naturally to vampires. Vampires have the appeal of power over others, which is very alluring to someone who feels that they have no power of their own. Finally and most importantly, vampires have a sexual appeal. This sexual appeal ranges from the more normal (dominance, charming, and innuendo of oral sex) to the strange (blood fetishes, sadomasochism, and necrophilia). All claims can be justified in some way or another. The vampire usually is seen as a metaphor for the dark side of humans: our greed, lust, obsession, predatory natures, desire for eternal life, the tragic quality of being boxed in by fate. On another level, the vampire has the qualities of the dark rebel, the outcast, the ultimate opponent of the established order and the daylight world. Trapped in a half- world between the living and the dead, the vampire carries the tragic qualities of an outsider who does not fit in, a situation that many people can identify with. Whereas the vampire was needed in the past as an outlet of fear and anxiety by being a scapegoat for unexplainable calamity, today not much seems to remain from his original essence. The vampire has freed itself from the contingencies of its social role to become a true archetype.

Vampires usually appear as "normal" humans do, unless they are aroused by bloodlust or enraged. In such cases, the appearance of two, reticulating canine-like fangs may be seen; accompanied by red eyes and a rather predacious countenance. Vampires to do not cast their reflections on mirrored surfaces, although they do cast shadows. Their images cannot be captured on film, videotape, or digital video. Likewise, the sound they make (vocal or otherwise) cannot be captured on either digital or analog recording devices. The vampire requires fresh human blood for sustenance. Human blood is the preference of all vampires, although they can sate themselves on lower mammalian forms of life for short periods of time. Some "older" vampires and Vampire Regents can resist their bloodlust and survive for longer periods without feeding; sometimes over a span of several weeks to a whole month. However, a vampire deprived of viable sustenance for protracted amounts of time will rapidly "age" until it reaches its actual age - ordinarily proving to be fatal, as most vampires are older than the average human lifespan.

The SexSkit opens with the female participant (VICTIM) sitting in her car that has just broken down on a dark country road. VICTIM tries to make a phone call for help using her cell phone, but it does not have any reception at her present location. VICTIM gets out of her car and walks to a nearby house, a mansion by any standards, and knocks at the door. After a few moments, the door opens, revealing a very dark demeanored yet handsome middle aged man. VICTIM quickly explains her predicament, and asks if she might come inside to make a phone call. The male participant (VAMPIRE) agrees, and lets her into the mansion. Once inside, VAMPIRE closes and quietly locks the door behind her...

SexSkits' The Vampire 1 will be released on October 15th.
